Creative Cookware now closed

Creative Cookware was a very useful shop in Rose Street, selling all kinds of interesting things for the kitchen. They didn't used to play music, and were therefore listed on our Quiet Shopping page.

Then, earlier this year, they started playing music, so we dropped them from our page. They have now closed.

It would be nice to think there was a connection.

Baxters used to have a large two-storey outlet in Ocean Terminal with a wonderful selection of kitchen gadgets and items. They played loud background music and received lots of complaints about it, which they seemed to ignore. The outlet has now closed down, together with all their other stores apart from just one at Fochabers. One of the few kitchen stores which appears to be surviving is Lakeland. No background music there. It would be nice to think there was a connection
