We are in danger of suffering hearing loss from noisy backgrounds, and this includes loud background music. Research shows that, if we treat hearing loss early, we can help stave off dementia. Quiet Scotland now has a blog on hearing damage from loud music

Well, I'm not demented yet, but I will be if places don't stop this annoying "music" - which, by the way, as a musician, I regard as anything but..!
